Excuses, excuses...

I've been more or less working two jobs for the past month (month and a half), and I've suddenly developed a bit of a social life on top of that. Consequently, I haven't been drawing much. I've been sewing like a fiend, but almost nothing I've made can be posted here. I've got a series of watercolours I really want to make a reality, but I keep procrastinating. Also, I'm broker than broke, and so I had to let my subscription lapse (PLEASE DO NOT BUY ME A SUBSCRIPTION! I WOULD FEEL GUILTY!) and I get lazy about updating when I'm not financially invested in participating in the site.

The good news, though, is...well...remember that corset I started talking about, say, three years ago? [link] It exists! Finally! And once I get some decent photos of it (like, technically decent photos and not cutsey camwhorey ones) I will post them! And, as a delightful consequence of making said corset, a few friends of mine have asked me to make corsets for them. So hopefully there will be corsetry abounding here soon.

Lastly, I'm trying to finally get serious about teaching myself some pattern drafting. It's something I never really picked up in school (except, oddly, for randomly figuring how to draft sleeves) and I really want to learn to do it correctly. So hopefully, I'll be outfitting myself in fabulous ensembles of my own creation soon. And posting them, of course. As soon as I have monies for fabric.
